After I healed and saw the procedure didn't get close to my lips, I went back to Dr. Winslow and she said she couldn't get any closer to my lips. That's what I had it for! You be the judge. I still have a lot of lines around my mouth. She offered no solution! I'm 68 yo and was looking for a permanent solution for getting rid of the lines. I didn't find it! It took 6 months for the pinkness around my mouth to completely fade. So not worth it!
Dr. Winslow and I clicked right away, I knew by the time I left her office that she was the one I was going to choose. She was very open individual and has a great sense of humor. She was able to communicate with me exactly what I wanted. What impressed me the most is that she called me several hours after the procedure to make sure I was doing ok and if I had any questions. Dr. Winslow is a skilled surgeon. Very professional, informative, and thorough. The rest of her staff are all very friendly as well, which makes the environment rather welcoming. I'd absolutely trust her to perform surgery on me again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to others.
I had excess SMAS removed during my facelift and added to the hollows under my eyes in 2013. The preferred method by Dr. Winslow would have been for her to use excess fat from my abdomen. However, I'd had a body lift two months earlier and I did not have any excess fat for her to harvest. Imagine that, LOL. Massive weight gain and loss had done a world of damage to my face. Dr. Winslow called me personally at home just to see how I was doing. She and her staff are the very best of the best. After all the different people I went to for help, only she delivered! She is an artist in facial surgery and a wonderful healer. Do not hesitate to set up a consultation. I wish I would have went years ago.
