So I've scheduled my facelift, and as many of you know, once scheduled, there's no turning back. I'll try and update with pictures, etc. as I go along. I had two consults and chose Dr. Winslow, in Carmel, Indiana because she does faces - ONLY! That was really important to me. Her staff, especially, Rachel, have been wonderful to work with.
This has been a nightmare with this office. I made an appointment for a consultation for a TCA 30% peel. The lady that made the appointment was brand new and said I had to pay in full prior to consultation. I paid in full but was very scared and expressed to them I wasn’t sure about it. The doctor came in for maybe 1 minute. I had never saw the doctor before or after that. They told me to wait until summer was over for peel and joked well at least you are paid in full. I honestly have never written a review in my life (no time), but I was so upset I felt I had to take the time to write one. I have been getting botox for 7 years and have never had a negative experience…until now. I have never met Dr. Winslow but I got botox done by her nurse Erin. She had me sit in a chair, didn’t offer that I lay down, didn’t offer ice or anything and jabbed my face and forehead. Started going there few years back and after number of times her office manager messed me up I decided to stop going ! Making a decision to get a filler that was advised by another facility against my better judgement I listened to a friend and went back , again had voluma done by her office manager ! After complaining about it , the doctor okayed for her manager do refuse service, I was kicked out basically! I should put a picture up so everyone sees what was done! Consult went great.. Julie the coordinator was awesome and so reassuring. Dr. Winslow went over everything and then did some before/after imaging on my picture. Triste did my preop yesterday and really threw a lot of information at me, but she gave me all of it to read on my own and go over which was great. I have all my prescriptions that I can fill and get, as well as a grocery list for things I will need in recovery!
Dr Winslow and her staff have been absolutely amazing. I cannot wait until March 23.
hard to like a doctor who ended up being a letdown.
